Woke up this morning to discover a lovely message from author Peadar Ó Guilín over on the Twitter. Now Peadar if you don’t know - and if you don’t, how very dare you! - is an author whose novel The Call has alternately traumatised/delighted Irish mythology fans for the last few years. This was the introduction to a series riffing on Irish mythology and language, and an alternate history for my homeland with an eldritch form of occupation. Fantastic stuff, well worth your time.
